My Notes The SSSI stretches some way along the coast line here and the Fleet and its inner coast can be accessed from several points, indeed the South West Coastal path runs along its complete length.

Rodden Hive and Herbury Gore Nature Reserve

A favourite wintering place for waders and wildfowl as well as a good site for flowers and insects in summer.


 

Abbotsbury Swannery and Gardens

The famous swannery at Abbotsbury and the nearby tropical gardens
