Take the A35 from Dorchester towards Bridport and in just ove two miles the main road bears round to the left and a side ride goes straight on, this is the old Roman road. Take the side road and carry on westwards for just over six miles ignoring turnings to your left and right. You came to a cross roads where you can see Eggardon Hill in front of you. Turn left here towards Spyway and Askerswell and shortly you come to a small lay-by on your left. Park here, cross the road and walk down the track until you come to the entrance gate on to the hill.
