    Brownsea Island

These are species recorded on this site in organised survey work; obviously it is not complete but it is intended to give a guide as to what may be seen during a visit:

This list not, of course, a definitive list. The time of year you visit will affect what you see and more mobile species (birds and mammals for example) may have been there when I visited but that does not mean they will necessarily be there if you do! There will also be species that are present at times when I have not been there so use this list in conjunction with the records submitted via Twitter on the contributed records report. You can use the filters to select records for a species group or sub-group that you may be interested in,. Click on any thumbnail photo to find out more about a particular species.
